Escape Room Waiver

1. Assumption of Risk

The Cryptic Hunter is an interactive escape room experience that may involve dim or low lighting, sudden sounds or lighting effects, confined or enclosed spaces, physical searching and handling of props, bending, reaching, and moving between rooms under a time limit. I understand that participation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to minor cuts, bruises, trips, falls, strain, or psychological effects such as claustrophobia or anxiety triggered by low light or enclosed spaces. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all such risks on behalf of myself (and the minor participant, if applicable).

2. Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, release and forever discharge Rendez-Vous RV Park & Storage, its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating in The Cryptic Hunter or while on the premises, except where caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Rendez-Vous RV Park & Storage.

3. Health & Conduct Acknowledgment

I confirm that I (or the minor participant) am physically able to participate and am not aware of any medical condition that would make participation unsafe. I agree to follow all posted rules and staff instructions at all times, and understand that staff may remove any participant from the experience for unsafe or disruptive behaviour without refund.

4. Photo & Video Release

I grant Rendez-Vous RV Park & Storage permission to photograph or record myself (or the minor participant) during the experience and to use these images for promotional purposes, including on the park’s website and social media, without compensation. I understand I may opt out of this by notifying staff prior to my visit.

5. Acknowledgment

By checking the box below, I confirm I have read this waiver in full, understand its terms, and agree to it voluntarily. If agreeing on behalf of a minor, I confirm I am the participant’s parent or legal guardian and have full authority to agree to this waiver on their behalf.
